New CNGA Board Members Elected for 2025
We’re excited to welcome Brian Austin and Katelynn Martinez to the Colorado Nursery & Greenhouse Association (CNGA) Board of Directors! Each of these individuals brings unique skills, expertise, and passion to our organization, and we’re thrilled to have them join us in shaping the future of horticulture. In addition, several of our existing board members are stepping into different appointments on the board. Read more below!
Brian Austin – The Garden Path Greenhouse, Clifton, CO
Brian is the owner of The Garden Path Greenhouse, where he grows high-quality baskets, pots, and bedding plants for Colorado’s mountain communities. A proud graduate of Colorado State University with degrees in Floriculture and Nursery Management, Brian has over a decade of experience in greenhouse operations, including leadership roles at Dutch Heritage Gardens. Recognized as one of GPN’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and a finalist for Grower Talks’ Young Grower of the Year in 2019, Brian combines innovative problem-solving with traditional growing methods to deliver exceptional plant quality. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and coaching youth sports. Say hello to Brian.
Katelynn Martinez – OneCanopy, Loveland, CO
Katelynn is a systems-driven forest ecologist with over ten years of experience in the Rocky Mountain region. As Director of Operations at OneCanopy, a reforestation and native seedling nursery, she has led the cultivation of over one million seedlings, advancing conservation and climate solutions. A two-time graduate of Colorado State University, Katelynn holds a B.S. in Forest Management and an MBA in Corporate Sustainability. Her unique blend of ecological expertise and nursery industry leadership brings fresh perspective to the CNGA board. A seventh-generation Coloradan, Katelynn is deeply committed to land stewardship and sustainable practices. Say hello to Katelynn.
