GreenCO once again proved its influence under the gold dome this legislative session. Working closely with its lobbying team at Hicks & Associates, the coalition monitored dozens of bills and led targeted advocacy on legislation that directly impacted Colorado’s green industry.
From protecting the qualified workforce for backflow prevention (HB25-1077) to shaping turf restrictions in new residential developments (HB25-1113), GreenCO helped guide policy to more practical, workable outcomes. Green industry professionals can rest assured their voices were heard, loud and clear.
GreenCO also pushed back against bills with potentially harmful consequences, including construction defect claims (SB25-185) and extreme heat regulations for outdoor workers (HB25-1286). These efforts resulted in several significant wins for businesses and workers alike.
